UC EXPO 2017 celebrates another record year!
Wednesday 24 May 2017
UC EXPO saw yet another year of record attendance with over 5,800 professionals from across the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) industry attending in 2017. It is Europe’s largest UC&C event aimed at those looking to discover more about the latest innovations and developments in UC&C technology.
The event ran from 17th to 18th May 2017 at its new location ExCeL London. It is designed to serve those looking to implement UC&C technology in the workplace, helping them uncover the latest trends and innovations which can be used to drive their business forward.
During UC EXPO 2017 attendees had access to over 90 exhibitors - including industry heavyweights Vodafone, Microsoft, AT&T, Avaya, Panasonic, VMware and Cisco – along with 84 inspiring presentations, seminars and panel debates, featuring some of the industry’s leading technological thinkers and entrepreneurs. Popular topics of conversation throughout the two day event included artificial intelligence, the importance of collaboration and the key technology powering our future workplace.
Highlight sessions, from the free to attend event, included keynote talks from Alan Peasland, Head of Technical Partnerships at Red Bull Racing; Snorre Kjesbu, VP/GM Cisco Collaboration End Points Technology Group at Cisco; Adrian May, Lead Programmer at Kazendi; futurist Ben Hammersley; and Blair Pleasant, President and Principal Analyst at COMMfusion. UC EXPO 2017 also saw a very lively debate on the future of UC with panellists Andrew Maher of Avaya, Kerri Hollis of Microsoft’s Skype for Business and Snorre Kjesbu of Cisco, each providing their view on the evolving requirements of UC.
“The modern work environment is evolving at an incredible rate, as a result, the requirements for UC&C technology is only growing too. Once again our speakers and exhibitors did an incredible job to showcase this technology and provide attendees with thought-provoking, insightful and educational information throughout the two days of UC EXPO,” comments Bradley Maule-ffinch, EMEA Portfolio Director for UC EXPO.
“In bringing together many eminent speakers to present, discuss and debate these key topics of interest to industry decision makers, UC EXPO has further cemented its reputation as a must attend event for anyone interested in unified communications. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year for UC EXPO 2018.”
UC EXPO 2018 returns to ExCeL London on 16th and 17th May 2018. Once again the show will feature keynotes, seminars and exhibitors spanning Cloud and UcaaS, Network Monitoring, Analytics, Security and Mobility. For more information, please visit www.ucexpo.com.
