As Managing Director for the EMEAR Collaboration Architecture – Marianne Calder is responsible for leading the sales and architecture teams across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia, setting the strategic direction for the 1BN+ Collaboration business, enabling execution of this strategy with close collaboration with the EMEAR field sales leaders, whilst ensuring clear ownership and accountability for the acceleration of the business in the region.

Cisco’s Collaboration Portfolio has gone through an exciting transformation and the next few years are expected to be game changing for Cisco.

Marianne has over 20 years’ experience in leading global sales teams, sales support organisations, business development and global leadership programs.  Marianne brings a significant record of sustained achievement and results.  In her most recent role she has developed the EMEAR Virtual Sales teams into a highly profitable, productive and diverse team of over 400 people supporting 45 countries, consistently delivering strong financial results for the EMEAR region.  With contribution of $1.4B, Virtual Sales has grown to represent 36% of the commercial business, and 13% of the total EMEAR business.   In the past 18 months Marianne has also worked closely with services to create an integrated selling process for product and services across EMEAR, achieving record growth in services penetration.

Marianne is passionate about Talent, Inclusion and Diversity and she has for the past years, been building the Early-in Career Talent Engine in Virtual Sales and leading the Connected Women group across EMEAR in addition to her core responsibilities.

Prior to Cisco, Marianne worked at the Danish Consulate in San Francisco providing commercial support to Danish and US companies.

Andrew Sinclair, the GM of Skype Product Marketing, is recognized for his experience and leadership in the Consumer and Enterprise Unified Communications fields.  Andrew originally joined Microsoft in 1995 via the acquisition of his first startup, Network Managers U.K. Ltd. He established the Lync team before leaving Microsoft in 2010 to join Skype as a member of the leadership team which transformed Skype into an independent company.
 
Andrew drew upon on his experience building and running large scale services as well as being a respected leader in both startup and corporate environments to successfully integrate Skype with Microsoft.  After the Microsoft acquisition, he led the Lync integration with Skype and ultimately the evolution of Skype into a single global solution spanning consumer and enterprise. During his time at Skype the business has grown from 25 million users to hundreds of millions of monthly users, and over three billion call minutes each day.  Andrew has led growth in every aspect of the Skype: starting with Lync, now called Skype for Business; moving to the Core product and Consumer teams; and now the Skype Product Marketing organization.
 
Andrew lives in Redmond, WA with his wife, two children, and dog called Alfie and splits his time between Redmond and Skype offices in Palo Alto, London, Prague, Stockholm and Tallinn.

Donald McLaughlin heads up the Cisco Collaboration business for UK & Ireland. He has been in the ICT industry for more than 25 years and has worked with an extensive list of private and public sector organisations across the country. Donald has been with Cisco since 2000, initially joining the software sales division before taking on leadership of the Northern Commercial sales team and following that, the Local Government division. The common theme in all these roles has been a passion for helping customers drive productivity improvements through Cisco’s innovative technology solutions. Prior to joining Cisco, he spent time at Siemens and Unisys in a variety of sales and management roles across a broad range of industry sectors. Donald is a regular on the public speaking circuit and has also featured frequently in the business and trade press.Donald has degree in Mathematics & Statistics from Glasgow University and is a former president of the Students’ Union. A prolific information security professional, Joe has held a variety of positions in the space since 2003.

His areas of expertise and experience include U.S. Federal Security Evaluation at the ARCA Common Criteria Lab, leading the FEDRAMP certification of a Federal Cloud, technical leadership roles at CorasWorks and Carpathia Hosting and developing and delivering professional services capabilities at managed hosting providers like SAVVIS and Carpathia. Recently, Joe spent two years consulting with executive leadership at a variety of companies including the wireless security startup Integrata Security and a wholesale data center provider. A frequent speaker at industry events, Vishy is also the co-author of “Work Goes Mobile” (Wiley, 2006).

Andrew Edison is Senior Vice President Sales, EMEA, leading all sales channels across the region and servicing enterprise, government and wholesale customers.

Mr. Edison has significant global experience in growing businesses profitably, gained throughout his extensive career working in Europe and in the US.

Providing customers with solutions that support their business objectives around growth, efficiency and security is a priority for Mr. Edison, as well as building profitable growth for Level 3 through effective sales channels across the region. By leveraging its global network footprint, Mr. Edison sees Level 3 as crucial to solving the growing connectivity, collaboration and business process challenges enterprises face today.

Prior to joining Level 3, Mr. Edison served 20 years with AT&T, most recently as Region Vice President, Head – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). His accomplishments there included revenue and market share growth in the primary European markets, with particular experience across Continental Europe.

While at AT&T, Edison worked in the US for three years (2007-2010) as the Vice President, Global Operations Planning, responsible for leading strategic global initiatives.  He also held multiple roles in their Paris office from 2002-2007.

Mr. Edison began his telecoms career with BT. He is a native of the UK and a respected technology industry advocate who has contributed to the Prince’s Trust as a Technology Leadership Group member. Mr. Edison is based at Level 3’s EMEA regional headquarters in London.

Mark Richer has a reputation for success in delivering innovative solutions that solve real-life business challenges. For over 20 years, he has successfully brought to market network, voice and video solutions that have improved irrevocably the way we communicate across the enterprise.

A serial entrepreneur, Mark was the Chairman and founder of Codian, which he established in 2002. Codian delivered a new generation of video conferencing infrastructure solutions, and was acquired by Tandberg in 2007. Prior to this, Mark was the CEO and founder of Calista, a company specializing in Voice over IP products, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1999. Calista’s products and technology are incorporated into the Cisco IP Communications product range.

At the very beginning of Mark’s career, he was a founder and Director of Engineering at Madge Networks, a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of close to $1 billion at the time he left.

He also co-founded the high-tech start-up Msona Ltd., in UK/Italy to empower operators with revenue-generating managed services tailored for the SME market, with innovative multi-service Internet appliances and hosted solutions.

At NFON, Rami is responsible for driving awareness and sales of NFON’s market-leading Cloud telephony solution across the UK and Ireland. He is based in Reading and holds a Bachelor of Computer and Electrical Engineering from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and a MSc. in Strategic Management from Bristol University. Matthew has degrees in electrical and electronic engineering and marketing. He is a regular advisor to the European Commission on ICT research and innovation and a member of the CONNECT Advisory Forum (CAF) advising the EU commission on investment priorities as part of the digital futures and horizon 2020 initiatives.
