Andrew Sinclair, the GM of Skype Product Marketing, is recognized for his experience and leadership in the Consumer and Enterprise Unified Communications fields. Andrew originally joined Microsoft in 1995 via the acquisition of his first startup, Network Managers U.K. Ltd. He established the Lync team before leaving Microsoft in 2010 to join Skype as a member of the leadership team which transformed Skype into an independent company.
Andrew drew upon on his experience building and running large scale services as well as being a respected leader in both startup and corporate environments to successfully integrate Skype with Microsoft. After the Microsoft acquisition, he led the Lync integration with Skype and ultimately the evolution of Skype into a single global solution spanning consumer and enterprise. Matthew started his career in semiconductors designing mixed signal semiconductors including overseeing the development of some of the first consumer oriented applications for digital signal processing. Being in Boston in the early 90's he caught the internet bug and founded internet collaborative computing startup Insitu using the then fledgling Internet as a medium for collaboration globally. The advent of VOIP in the mid 90's lead to the acquisition of Insitu by the VOIP pioneer Vocaltec the combination going onto develop the first unified communications application suite for the enterprise.
Matthew has degrees in electrical and electronic engineering and marketing. He is a regular advisor to the European Commission on ICT research and innovation and a member of the CONNECT Advisory Forum (CAF) advising the EU commission on investment priorities as part of the digital futures and horizon 2020 initiatives.

Garrett Myers is an independent communications technology consultant, founder and managing director of the Gateway Group, based in Detroit, Michigan, US with an office in Ashtead, Surrey, UK. With an electrical engineering and business background Mr Myers has been assisting medium and large businesses and non-profit organizations acquire and effectively use communications technology for over 30 years.
Gateway Group’s clients include municipal governments, primary schools and universities, public libraries, software companies, Ford Motor Company, Dow Chemical and others. Projects typically include strategic planning of communications use, followed by technology selection and acquisition, Implementation oversight and post-installation utilization.
Mr. Myers is a Vice President of the Society Communications Technology Consultants (SCTC) International. He is a regular speaker at conferences in the US, Canada, UK and Europe. He has been a presenter or panelist at several past UC Expo events, speaking on the process of communications technology selection, implementation and utilization.
