Wouldn’t it be better to have a sunshine day out the office not a snow day

Wednesday 09 May 2018

A sprinkle of snow on the ground, the wrong type of rain, a little bit too much wind and now a very British heat wave. It seems that every type of weather can result in commuting chaos in the UK. But whilst we might be getting more accustomed to snow days, it looks like sunshine days could also give us a reason to work from home. The post bank holiday return to the office was delayed for many thanks to extended train delays due to overheated tracks.

With more unpredictable summer weather on the horizon, if organisations want to remain productive they need to ensure employees can work flexibly and remotely. This is where cutting edge unified communications and collaboration tools can help - from video conferencing to collaborative content sharing, cloud hosted telephony  and productivity boost products like Slack. It’s only by giving employees the tools to make remote working easier that they will do this, instead of firing up the barbeque again on a hot day. If they happen to sit in the back garden whilst working, well who can blame them!

As Europe’s largest Unified Communications & Collaboration event, UC EXPO is the perfect place to find out more about the different tips, tricks and products which can help your team stay up and running no matter what the weather brings. Register now for your free ticket.
