    The Collaboration Conundrum

As many of us become 'shoulder bag' workers, we can choose where, and when we work. But as we virtualise, how do we override our "inner Neanderthal" and effectively collaborate with people we may never meet in the real world? Do we need offices anymore as more business is done in digital space? How do we ever turn off in a world of constant connection? How do we create "common ground" for collaboration, as we bring together a diverse, disparate, and dispersed set of people?  Do digital employees need a different type of digital leadership?

In this session you will learn how Scedule adapts the organization of business meetings to today's working word.

Are you grappling with the Future of Work and Digital Workplaces? And do you want to know how to make tomorrow's agile working world as efficient as possible?

We think that Collaboration is still the key! Therefore we have to reduce the administrative effort for employees. At the same time as it is no longer appropriate for the user to act as an interface between the various individual systems and tools. These problems cause a loss in productivity and motivation.

So in order to meet the challenges of our mobile and flexible working world, we concentrated on digitizing and automating the organization of business meetings. Because today's state of calendar sharing does not reflect the preferences, working hours or private plans of any employee.

As an example cloud has become somewhat of a new normal for businesses that are interested in digital transformation. While cloud is not digital transformation, it certainly can help to enable it. Our customers focus on business outcomes and we help address the technical requirements that get them to those outcomes. Cloud is merely a delivery method that supports transformation.

    Why Workstream Collaboration Matters

For the past 50 years, enterprise communications have been built around a voice-centric, real-time model - that's beginning to change. Messaging-centric solutions for enterprise communications are filling a gap that most enterprises didn't realize they had, and with it comes a whole new set of vocabulary, services, and providers. This isn't like instant messaging or voice mail where they are simply added to a PBX, they are conceptually and architecturally different. This presentation takes a look at what's driving the adoption of Workstream Collaboration, why the shift matters, and key considerations in selecting a strategy.

Using applications in the cloud brings greater demands on your Network and connectivity from all your sites and users at home or on the road. The success of an application is judged on how useful the app is for the job and how easy, reliable and fast it performs from anywhere, on any device.

Choosing the right connectivity is not just ‘a bigger faster pipe’. Bandwidth and speed are of course important, but performance, quality, reliability, support and the right product fit combine to ensure your business has a resilient, high-availability complete communications package with the flexibility to prioritise critical availability to sites, applications and users.

How Can Consumer-Focused Communications Services Prepare for GDPR?

Replacing existing regulation to better reflect the ways in which businesses, consumers and technology are intertwined in today’s world, the GDPR will have serious implications for businesses of all sizes. What is important to acknowledge and prepare for is the increased accountability and obligations placed on businesses that have access to consumer data. Preparing for the GDPR requires providers and businesses to create, track, and update data protection policies, impact assessments, consent processes, and more.

In this session, Vonage CISO Johan Hybinette will discuss how consumer-focused communications services can best prepare for the GDPR, the value in third-party auditing, and how to overcome potential challenges.

Optimising Value by adding AI and Context into Communications

As the web continues to evolve, current text and form-heavy transactional interfaces are giving way to conversational interfaces that take users on a personalised journey. The key to delivering transformational value will be deploying AI and UC tools that allow complex automated conversations and person-to-person communication to be integrated into the flow of the conversational web.
As an industry, we've spent the better part of the last two decades driving customer transactions to the web to improve efficiency. We can now bring our people back into the conversation at just the right moment to capitalise on the value they can uniquely add.

Serve Your Customers With Artificial Intelligence From The Cloud, Right Now!

Intelligent Voice interfaces powered by deep learning neural networks are no longer the stuff of science fiction. We’re all familiar with simplicity and power of Amazon's Alexa Voice Service, and the Amazon Echo devices that make it simple for consumers to access this technology; technology that just a few years ago would have been regarded as difficult, if not impossible, to engineer, deploy and operate at scale. What if you could put the same capabilities to work in your contact centre; answering common customer questions and allowing customers to conduct transactions at any time of the day or night, using their just their phone and their voice, without needing to recruit, train, accommodate and retain large numbers of agents? Join this session to learn how you can make this a reality today!

How Failsafe SD-WANs make UC Apps Dance

A failsafe SD-WAN delivers both MPLS-class high availability and high QoE (Quality of Experience) predictable application performance for both TCP-based apps and real-time apps like VoIP and videoconferencing, whether built on a hybrid MPLS plus Internet WAN fabric, or a WAN made up only of Internet connections. Rather than requiring WAN administrators to map applications to network connections on a per session basis in a pre-determined fashion, a failsafe SD-WAN allows administrators to set high-level application polices, while the solution itself automatically makes per-packet forwarding decisions to reliably deliver traffic to the destination at the other end of the WAN based on knowledge of current network conditions. Failsafe SD-WANs are crucial to service assurance for business-critical apps like UC and UCaaS.
