LoopUp launches LoopUp Rooms for video-enabled office conference rooms

LoopUp Rooms combines the company’s premium remote meeting solution with off-the-shelf hardware to create competitively-priced, plug-and-play video conferencing suites that are simple and accessible for all users.
As businesses see an increase in remote and hybrid working, demand is growing for collaborative spaces that allow employees to communicate securely and productively with customers and colleagues, wherever they may be. Until recently, video suites were expensive to install, complex to use and inaccessible to most employees. By contrast, LoopUp Rooms is a simple, plug-and-play solution that converts regular conference rooms into video-enabled rooms available for everyone, making meetings more productive and secure.
LoopUp Rooms leverages off-the-shelf hardware - a display screen, a high-quality camera, a mini-PC, a touch-screen controller and a conference room phone. A meeting room with a display screen and speaker phone can be converted into a LoopUp Room in a matter of minutes from as little as $1,400 (£1,200) with no ongoing licence fees.
Users join remote meetings in a LoopUp Room with one touch from a touch-screen controller, which then leverages the high quality video and display of the room’s screen and camera, and the reliable managed quality-of-service audio of the room’s speaker phone. Users benefit from all of LoopUp’s remote meeting features, including full visibility of all meeting attendees, one-click screen sharing and video, and audio carried over regular phone lines for increased reliability. Users can reserve the LoopUp Room directly from Outlook – this reserves the meeting room and adds their meeting to the calendar on the touch-screen controller in that room for easy joining.
