Working from Home: innovaphone Launches the Solidarity PBX

innovaphone places the myApps work and communication platform at the disposal of all those who have to work from home during the corona crisis free of charge for three months. This is how the Sindelfingen-based company is contributing to support companies in their efforts to keep their company communication running and thus their ability to function despite the restrictions required to contain the corona virus.

The cloud-based communications platform innovaphone myApps enables internal telephone and video calls to be made, information to be shared using Application Sharing as well as users to chat within the platform. The innovaphone Solidarity platform runs on desktop PCs (Windows) as well as on smartphones (iOS, Android) and via a browser. The platform is accessed by entering a username and password. Users can manage their own released data within the platform in the “Privacy” area and can define and adjust their Presence information and visibility.

The PC version allows screen sharing and control to be handed over to another person in the conference. Dagmar Geer, Chairman of innovaphone AG, explains: “It is important for everyone to ensure corporate communications can continue running as smoothly as possible even in difficult times like these. Granting free use of our myApps IP Telephony and UC solution and thus providing free access to a wide range of communication tools for three months is our contribution”.

The IP specialist has created guidelines to help you use the innovaphone Solidarity platform quickly and easily. Installation is quite intuitive and is partly automated. All security mechanisms implemented in myApps and two-factor authentication ensure maximum security for the data on the innovaphone solidarity platform.
