Growing up in Silicon Valley I fell in love with technology early on in my life despite the frustrations of dial-up modems and my parents yelling at me to get off the computer. I was fortunate to start my career at Google where I helped build the AdWords Inside Sales organization under Sheryl Sandberg. Google was a few hundred people when I joined, and 60,000 people and 9 years later decided to join a few former co-workers at AdRoll as their Vice President of Sales and Managing Director of North America. At AdRoll, I built and was responsible for the North America sales and support organization (150 people across Enterprise, Mid-Market, Account Management, and Sales Development). This experience of further working closely with prospects and clients highlighted the critical need for businesses to understand sales and support conversations and became the catalyst for joining the founders at TalkIQ (a real-time speech recognition and voice analytics start-up) as their CEO. TalkIQ was acquired by Dialpad in May of last year, and post-acquisition I joined the Dialpad board of directors and currently oversee the development of real-time voice, machine-learning, and natural language processing features across the Dialpad product suite.
