Mariana Bonotto is graduated in Portuguese and English Language and Literature at USP – Universidade São Paulo (2006), has a degree in Pedagogy at USCS (2017), a post graduation degree in Special Education in Regular schools (2011) and a Master in Education research about the use of videoconference to teach English (2019). She has also been a Fulbright FLTA (Foreign Language Teacher Assistant, teaching Portuguese at SIT in the USA – 2011/2012); she has gotten to study at IoE in London (2012) and a PDPI at MSU in Michigan (2019) in a Capes scholarship program. And short study abroad programs in Montreal, Dublin, London and Malta.
She has worked as an English teacher since 2000, starting in language schools. She has worked at Prefeitura de São Caetano do Sul since 2007, teaching regular schools from elementary to high school, also teaching in university about sign language, English, Portuguese and pedagogy. She has worked voluntarily in projects for inclusion of deaf and blind into society and has just started teaching English as a Foreign language to deaf students.
